I had a hard time finding this product. I knew what I wanted, but could not find it anywhere locally, People at the automotive stores didn't even know what I was talking about. I have a boat with batteries in 4 different locations which are difficult to access. It's impossible to see how full the battery is without completely removing it. This product works perfectly. I tried it out on my car before going to the boat and it works as advertised. Filling the batteries on the boat is no longer a major exercise with water spilled everywhere. I imagine it would be great for RV's also. I would caution you to be sure to press down all the way when you are filling a cylinder. If you don't press hard enough, it may not automatically stop the flow of the water. This may be why some reviewers think the product is not working properly.
I wanted a product that would allow me to easily refill the batteries in my watercraft. I always had trouble determining when I had the water at the proper level. The Plews battery filler allows me to easily fill batteries and get the levels correct each time. It does what it said it would do.
